As of the 28th of September 2024 Important changes are coming to the Low Voltage Rescue—CPR (LVR-CPR) course. The unit requirements for this course will be updated nationwide to reflect the latest industry standards
1. New Prerequisite Requirements
To attend the LVR-CPR course, all students across Australia must meet one of the following mandatory prerequisite requirements:
UEECD0007: Apply work health and safety regulations, codes, and practices in the workplace; OR
UETDREL006: Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker; OR
An ESI or Electrotechnology Qualification or Equivalent.
If you cannot provide evidence of any of the above qualifications, you can complete one of these Qualification options as part of your next refresher.
2. Why These Changes?
These updates ensure that all workers are adequately prepared to handle the challenges and safety demands of working with low-voltage systems. By aligning course requirements with national standards, the goal is to provide the best possible training and ensure the highest levels of safety and proficiency.
