| This course is designed for individuals who work in high-stress environments such as emergency services, healthcare, and other demanding sectors, particularly where shiftwork is a feature of the role. Students will learn about the causes and effects of workplace stress, identify personal stressors and triggers, strategies for managing short- and long-term stress, develop a personalised stress management plan based on your interests and needs. And the importance of seeking help when necessary to build resilience to manage short- and long-term stress It also covers the legal and ethical responsibilities of employers and employees in relation to workplace health and safety (WHS), and the communication and documentation requirements for reporting incidents and hazards related to workplace stress to promote a safe, healthy and supportive work environment and reduce the risk of stress-related illness and injury. Course Format and Requirements
This course is delivered online. You can log in and out as often as you need, there is no requirement to complete it in one sitting.

Course Duration
- This course is delivered fully online and will be self-paced. Students are expected to complete this course within six (6) months after enrolment.
Entry Requirements
An individual undertaking this course with Allens Training Pty Ltd will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:
- An official form of photo identification (e.g., driver’s licence, passport, or student ID).
- Proficient verbal and written English language skills to complete and evaluate a Personal Stress Management Plan and manage two (2) stressful workplace situations

Online learning: Students must have basic digital literacy skills to navigate online platforms, complete assessments, and access course materials. Before enrolment, students should assess their ability to engage in online learning. Support is available where required. The online learning program can be found in the student portal. Students must have access to a computer, smart phone, tablet or other electronic device with access to the internet to complete the online studies and associated assessment tasks.

Assessment Activities
Practical scenarios:

- Upset family member
- Complete the tasks in line with Federal/State/Territory regulations, codes of practice and work health and safety (WHS/OHS) guidelines and workplace or site procedures.

Theory assessment: A written exam consisting of multiple-choice and short answer questions must be completed at the end of the training session. Students must answer all questions.
